About Darren, Estimator/Project Coordinator
Darren has been interested in construction since a young age growing up in New Brunswick. He starting off working for an R2000 home builder and doing renovations for many local clients. With over 20 years of estimating experience in the single and multi-family home building industry in Calgary it was time to put all these skills to the test. One of the most important lessons learned over the years was that honesty, integrity and compassion with clients is the best way to do business.
When not focusing on work Darren enjoys spending time with his family camping in the mountains. There is just something about spending time in nature that allows us to recharge and gain perspective on the priorities in our lives. We are very lucky to have such beauty so close to the city to enjoy...even if it's not as often as we all would like.

About Doug, Handyman
Born and raised in Calgary, Doug developed an early interest in automotive work and woodworking during high school. After graduation, he went on to operate heavy equipment before eventually becoming a letter carrier for Canada Post, dedicating 33 years to the role before retiring.
Following his retirement, Doug spent a few years driving buses while continuing to pursue his passion for cars, repairs, and woodworking, which had become a cherished hobby. Over the years, he renovated the basements of each home he moved into and helped family and friends with various home projects.
Now, he finds great satisfaction in working with a talented team at Timber Valley, where he enjoys renovating and creating something new for clients.
